Architecture is different types of construction to create a building, be it a normal building, a decorated building, or a building that looks damaged on the outside, but very new and fancy on the inside.

Now that you are familiar with types of architecture research architects that are well known for the types of architecture you selected. Give a brief description of each architect and provide images of their work. (2-3 images per architect)
Medieval Architecture:
What are the characteristics and qualities of Medieval Architecture? Explain.
Medieval Architecture includes different types of architecture from many countries from medieval times such as Gothic Architecture, Ancient Roman Architecture, Baroque Architecture, and especially, Renaissance Architecture. Renaissance Architecture is very similar to Middle Ages architecture because many renaissance buildings were similar to gothic and medieval buildings during its time, Renaissance architects usually based their theories and practices on Classical Roman examples. Some well-known architects, for example are Gundulf, a Romansque Medieval Architect who was the architect who built The White Tower of the Famous Tower of London. He was a norman monk who was either called "Gundulf" or "The weeping monk of Bec". Also, Henry Yeverley; a Medieval Gothic Architect who was employed by King Edward III of England to become a master Stonemason.
Give 3-4 examples of medieval architecture and well-known architects during the Middle Ages.

WHEN was the castle constructed? Windsor Castle was constructed around 1070 and it took 16 more years to complete.
WHO was the castle constructed for? WHY? William the Conquerer built the castle for himself because he wanted easy access to a nearby hunting ground.
WHY was the castle designed or constructed in a specific way? The castle was designed to secure the Western Approach to London.
